Golden Pass Pipeline is committed to operating a safe and reliable pipeline system.  An important part of this commitment is increasing public awareness and knowledge about pipeline safety. Calling 811 or contacting your local One-Call Center before you dig, knowing where underground pipelines are located, knowing how to recognize a leak and knowing what to do if a leak occurs are all very important in keeping you and your community safe. Call 811 before you dig!
It’s free.  It’s easy.  And it’s the law.

One easy phone call to 811 starts the process to get your underground utility lines marked for free. To prevent pipeline damage due to excavating activities, state law requires that you call 811 or your local One-Call Center at least 48 hours prior to beginning any excavation or soil disturbing activity, excluding weekends and holidays. When you dial 811 from anywhere in the country, you will be routed to your local One-Call Center where you will be asked to provide the following:

• Your name and phone number
• The location of the dig (municipality and street address)
• A description of the excavation or type of dig
• Date and start time of excavation
