Golden Pass Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Terminal
Golden Pass LNG developed a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) receiving terminal and regasification plant near Sabine Pass, Texas, to help meet the demand for natural gas throughout the United States. The terminal is expected to be ready to receive LNG in the second half of 2010. It is among the largest LNG import facilities in the world with the capacity to import 15.6 million metric tons of LNG per year, the equivalent of approximately 2 billion cubic feet LNG per day.
